The Marseille Blue Stars (7-2) will head to Grenoble to face the Grenoble Centaures (5-4) in the final regular season game of the year and a crucial matchup for the Centaures in the French League of American Football.

A loss by the Centaures and a win by the Montpellier Hurricanes over the Aix-en-Provence Argonautes would eliminate Grenoble from the playoffs.

The Blue Stars beat Grenoble 24-0 earlier in the year.

In that game, Marseillie QB Chase Burton, who leads the French league in passing yardage, threw for 262 yards and 2 TDs while his counterpart, Sonny Weishaupt with the Centaures threw for 109 yards.

The Centaures were held to a total of 177 yards of offense while Marseillie racked up 332.

Both teams are coming off wins. The Blue Stars overwhelmed the Hurricanes in their last outing, beating them 50-0, while Grenoble got by the lowly Argonautes 24-19.

Grenoble will need a huge game today to overcome a Blue Stars team which seems poised to challenge for the French title.
